A space built for work and play. The brainchild of the visionary David Cross, KRYNKL is an innovative approach to commercial units that fosters and promotes start-ups. Based in Kelham Island, KRYNKL Space has won praise for breathing fresh air into Sheffield’s entrepreneurial spirit and received awards for its innovative design.

Despite this, the KRYNKL success story nearly ended in defeat as David was unable to get funding through high street lenders, who were unwilling to take the perceived risk in financing his vision. Though rejected by traditional lenders, David persevered and was connected to ASG Finance through the brokers, Platinum Money.

David met with ASG Finance Directors, Stewart Davies and Anthony Cundall to sell his vision. Stewart and Anthony could see the huge potential in the business and within hours funding had been agreed and the project was brought to life.

Since then David’s dream has become a reality. KRYNKL is now the beating heart of Sheffield’s start-up community. The vibrant optimism created by the project and the huge potential that it has for the local economy has led to intense interest. Cities across the UK have approached David to replicate the KRYNKL model with them and he is currently working with ASG Finance to establish it in three more cities in the near future.
